RiffTrax are downloadable audio commentaries featuring comedian Michael J. Nelson heckling, or 'riffing', films in the style of Mystery Science Theater 3000, a TV show in which Nelson was the head writer and, later, host. The RiffTrax are sold online where users can purchase and download the commentaries to play synchronously with their DVD of the film.

Al participated in the 2008 Rifftrax commentary for the film "Jurassic Park", and he joined the Rifftrax crew in their riffing of the short "Three Magic Words" during the live Christmas Shorts-Stravaganza.
