Al's Brain is the name of a 3D movie about the human brain that was presented from July 10, 2009 to August 9, 2009 at the Orange County Fair. It also featured a never before seen 3D Music Video. From September 11th through 27th 2009 it was featured at the Puyallup Fair (now known as the Washington State Fair), where it was enhanced with similar exhibits loaned from the Pacific Science Center, including a real human brain.

Guest Stars: Tim & Eric, Tom Lennon, Patton Oswalt, and Paul McCartney

The Exhibit[]

Outside the building there were multiple tents with one selling merchandise, along with a giant sculpture of Al with his brain. A look at this can be viewed through a video uploaded to Youtube.

After entering the main building, you would first walk in and enter a room with many hanging signs with optical illusions and brain teasers on them. You grab a pair of orange-rimmed 3D glasses and sit in front of the movie screen.

Weird Al comes and the screen and does some 3D effects and starts asking trivia about the human brain such as "Do we really use only 10% of our brain?" and "Can a person survive with a metal stake driven through his skull?" Then, the show starts.

Where to View[]

After it's final run at the Washington State Fair, the full 3D show of Al's Brain was considered lost media but in late February 2024, a full HD video of the film was uploaded to Youtube and can be viewed here! An HD behind the scenes video has been uploaded to Youtube as well, this video was done as a promo for the full event. Along with that Al uploaded an animated promo to his Youtube channel which can still be viewed here!
